Mark Wesker - President & CEO

Mark brings more than 15 years of experience in the software industry to Workspace Software. As the co-founder of Sequoia Software in 1992, Mark served as President and Chief Operating Officer from inception, through its IPO (SQSW), and until it was acquired by Citrix Systems, Inc. in May 2001. During his tenure, Mark directed Sequoia's operations from corporate financing; product development; sales, marketing and business development, through service and support. Mark helped lead the sale of Sequoia to Citrix (CTXS) in May 2001 for $185M. Following the acquisition, Mark served as Citrix's Vice President of Internet Strategy and as a member of Citrix's executive management team. Mark also served as the Chairman of the Greater Baltimore Technology Council from 2004 to 2006 and is the Managing Member of West Street Ventures.


Paul Martin - CTO

Paul co-founded Workspace Software, and has more than 12 years of product development and technology leadership experience. He's responsible for strategy, and product development, and evaluating market requirements. The workspace.com solution grew out of Paul's challenges managing a global development team at Citrix Systems. At Citrix, Paul served as VP & Chief Architect of Web Products. Paul architected NFuse Elite, the first simple, secure, out-of-the-box corporate portal. He also architected products for the small to mid-sized market and oversaw Citrix's worldwide, distributed development efforts. Prior to Citrix, Paul was VP of Development and CTO at Sequoia Software, a leading portal software company.


Eric Hyatt - COO

Eric brings over 25 years of business experience to Workspace Software. Eric has been directly responsible for acquisition, development and sale of various businesses, including Chemco Paper and Medical Supplies, Inc., E&S Services Inc., Automated Food Services, Inc., and Cleawater Farms, Inc between 1985 and 1998. Thereafter, he served as VP Sales and Marketing for QC Corporation, a Maryland headquartered chemical company with over 30M in annual revenues. Eric is also a member of West Street Ventures.


Doug D'Argenio - SVP, Business Development

Doug comes to Workspace Software with 20 years of experience and is responsible for Workspace Software's business development, market development, and corporate development initiatives. Prior to Workspace Software, Doug served as VP of Enterprise Solutions at Number Six Software culminating in its acquisition by Advanced Technology Systems. At SteelTrace, Doug served as VP of Business Development responsible for all strategic alliances. Doug began his career at Rational Software and, when he left, was Director of Strategic Alliances in which he was responsible for Rational's corporate partnerships with the industry's largest services companies.




John Burris - CEO, Sourcefire

John Burris joined Sourcefire in July 2008 and serves as its CEO. Previously, John was a key contributor to the decade of growth achieved by Citrix Systems, Inc., a publicly traded information technology (Nasdaq:CTXS) company specializing in application delivery infrastructure. John served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services at Citrix from January 2001 until July 2008 when he joined Sourcefire, during which time the company's annual revenues increased from $470 million to $1.4 billion, and before that, as Senior Vice President, Services from July 1999. Additionally, John played a key role in managing many of the acquisition integrations at Citrix.


Mark Grovic - Managing Director, New Markets Venture Partners

Mark is Managing Director of the New Markets Venture Partners (NMVP), and serves as the Deputy Director of the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business. Prior to joining NMVP, Mark was Portfolio Manager of Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF), managing $150 million in small business equity investment funds. From 1996-97, Mark was Co-Founder of the Templeton Emerging Europe Fund, a $60 million Central European private equity fund. From 1993-95, Mark was the Associate Portfolio Manager of Private Equities at the Calvert Group, a $5 billion socially responsible mutual fund.


Kevin Kernan

Kevin has nearly 25 years experience in sales, marketing, and general management positions in the software industry. Most recently as CEO, Kevin completed the successful sale of Secure Software to Fortify Software, a Kleiner Perkins portfolio company. Prior to joining Secure in 2003, Kevin was employed by Rational Software Corporation in a variety of roles including Managing Director - Rational Software Australia, Managing Director - Rational Asia Pacific, Vice President - Business Development and Vice President - Enterprise Programs.
